The expedition will have a two level approach. The first level will be the focus on novice trekkers, providing an opportunity to experience high altitude trekking in the most famous mountaineering region in the world. The second level of development will focus on the experienced trekkers/climbers in the team to ascend Island Peak.

Nepal

Nepal is a landlocked country in southern Asia, and is bordered by China to the North and India to the west, south and east.

Nepal is a country of highly diverse and rich geography, culture, and religions. The mountainous north contains eight of the world's ten highest mountains, including the highest, Mount Everest. The fertile and humid south is heavily urbanized.

Nepal experiences five seasons: summer, monsoon, autumn, winter and spring. The Himalaya blocks cold winds from Central Asia in the winter and forms the northern limit of the monsoon wind patterns. In a land once thickly forested, deforestation is a major problem in all regions, with resulting erosion and degradation of ecosystems.
